Contichrom CUBE: A bench top chromatography system for batch and continuous processing
In this product brochure from YMC Americas, Inc., learn more about the Contichrom® CUBE System, a flexible purification system for process development of (bio-)pharmaceuticals such as monoclonal antibodies, peptides, and oligonucleotides. The CUBE system enables single-column batch and twin-column counter-current processes, such as capture (CaptureSMB®) for monoclonal antibody (mAb) affinity chromatography and MCSGP for peptide. Additionally, the N-rich process functionality allows the rapid isolation of product-related impurities for CMC development. The systems are offered with pump flow rates of up to 36 mL/min or 100 mL/min.
Development of a twin-column continuous chromatography oligo purification process
Peptide and Oligo synthesis technologies are well developed for large scale manufacturing of pharmaceutical materials. Isolation and purification is a critical step in these manufacturing processes, and almost always utilizes chromatography. Multi-column counter-current solvent gradient purification (MCSGP) is a twin column continuous chromatography process that has significantly more capability than a traditional single-step batch process. In this poster, YMC America shows that the product yield is greatly improved with MCSGP while avoiding many complications encountered with a batch process.
