As the Business Development Manager, you will manage and drive new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within the designated sales territory, leveraging your scientific background whilst actively cultivating relationships at all levels within accounts. You will be an integral part of the Sales team. It is envisaged that this is a full-time hybrid-working role (minimum of 2 days office based). To help deliver our mission, we are seeking two dynamic and driven scientists or science graduates to join us as Assistant Editors to help with the continued growth of two of our channels – pharmaceutical and applied sciences, and life sciences.Reporting to the appropriate channel Editor, the successful candidate will work to ensure content creation and comms are produced in a timely manner to meet deadlines and achieve our internal quality standards, and are aligned to the relevant scientific community. Assisting with digital events, strategic media partnerships, industry awards, plus client services and sales support, the Assistant Editor will also work proactively and creatively to help drive our content marketing solutions, product growth, and work to achieve related KPIs and editorially-led revenue as we enter an exciting growth phase here at SelectScience.
