As a webinar and virtual event assistant you will help support our significant growth in the scientific publishing industry. We are looking for someone with experience of managing virtual or in-person events and are passionate about delivering successful events on behalf of customers. In this role, you’ll help to advance critical scientific communication by managing online webinars on behalf of global scientific manufacturers, helping them to reach their target audience. There will be a strong focus on delivering successful results and high quality, engaging events. You will provide expert direction throughout each project, from inception through to broadcast, helping to improve the engagement, effectiveness and results. Passionate about running events, you’ll be self-motivated with a positive attitude, a team player mentality and strong work ethic. As Finance Manager you will oversee and manage the financial health of a growing digital content company with employees worldwide, ensuring compliance with all external reporting requirements (eg, taxes, HMRC, etc), working within small finance team of five. You will be an integral part of the business support unit, which includes the HR and Office Admin teams, collectively overseen by the Chief Finance Officer. This is a key day-to-day operational finance role, that reports to, and works closely with the Financial Controller working to provide invaluable insights on the company performance to our internal stakeholders. It is envisaged that this is a full-time hybrid-working role (minimum of 2 days office based).
The role to lead on all content/editorial elements in the field of pharmaceuticals and applied sciences, helping to manage task allocation, content ideation and delivery for the field including audience development, social media, events, media partnerships and sales support. The Pharma and Applied Sciences Associate Editor will work closely with the editorial team to ensure content creation is timely and achieves best practice quality and standards. They will be responsible for the pharma and applied science strategy, support sales and work with client services and production in this field. The Associate Editor will research and keep up to date on all pharmaceutical and applied sciences advances and developments, particularly from the techniques perspective and continuously build out a contact network of scientists and manufacturers. The Associate Editor will help set KPIs, and work to achieve them for pharma and applied sciences content output and engagement, reporting to the Senior Associate Editor and supporting on all products and techniques relating to pharma and applied sciences matters.
