It is a great, one-of-a-kind service!
Application Area:Food Science Research Lab
"This service is great. It is very simple to use. Plastics only need to be sorted into colored (#2 and #5) and clear (#1,5 and 6). Then, mailed with a pre-printed shipping label to be recycled into new, sterile lab plastics. The service is a little pricey, but definitely worth it to keep disposable plastics out of landfills. "

We're excited we get to help make science more sustainable!
Application Area:General
"Recycled plastic tips and tubes from Polycarbin are identical for our applications to products from other vendors. The universal tips fit our Eppendorf pipettes, and we've completely switched over to using these recycled plastic products wherever possible. We also are switching over to using the 15 and 50ml conical tubes. We participate in the recycling program, and collect our empty tip boxes to be shipped to Polycarbin to be recycled into new boxes and tips. All the products are very easy to use - they send their collection boxes with return shipping labels, and we just tape them closed to be returned. All the tips and tubes are identical to those available from other vendors, so there are no changes required to use these sustainable products. The sales team is very responsive and answer all questions promptly. They've also been very responsive with any delays and have offered financial compensation when there are problems getting products to us quickly. The tips (which we use the most) and 15ml conical tubes are the same price as those we use from other vendors. The recycling program is run by the incubator space we're a member of, so that's a free program for us to participate in."

Great products, great for the environment!
Application Area:Lab Plastics
"Polycarbin has been an amazing resource for my lab. They close the loop on lab plastics, providing both waste removal and fresh, high quality lab plastics like pipette tips and conical tubes. They help reduce plastic waste and centralize recycling. "
