Pipetting has never been so easy and smooth! Doing lots of RT-PCR, so need to pipette a lot. This double lock system really helps to prevent the accidental volume switching - this is very important and helpful when you need to take only a few ul of the sample. Also, the pipette is very light, ergonomic and you don't need the force to press the button to take the volume, such a relief! Design itself is very nice, plastic material feels very nice and soft in the hand. Big compliments to this model! Lab life has become much easier:)

Locking feature, will save your life!

We love them! The locking feature on the Tacta is amazing, the plunger is smooth and effortless. I’m personally left-handed and find most pipettes are made for right-handed individuals but these have fit beautifully in both hands. The only thing we think could be made better is the tip ejector, its not as powerful as our other pipettes, but it isn’t a major issue. We just know now we can’t eject the tip forcefully, but I am hoping that makes individuals in our lab more careful with the pipettes. The locking feature is by far our favorite feature, its like set it forget it! No, checking to make sure it hasn’t moved. I was afraid universal pipette tips wouldn’t work with the pipettes we bought but no problems there either!
