Mini SpinFiltr^® is a microcentrifuge-style sample cleanup device designed for low-volume QuEChERS extract cleanup. It combines dispersive solid-phase extraction (dSPE) and 0.2 µm filtration into a single centrifuge-ready device, reducing sample handling and simplifying preparation. It is ideal for miniaturized workflows, method development, and applications where conserving sample or solvent is important.

Positive Pressure Manifold - A simple, robust way to quickly process up to 48 samples at one time. The Positive Pressure Manifold can accommodate a multitude of column sizes and provides even flow to each position. Positive Pressure Manifold Features: All 48 positions are individually regulated to provide even pressure to each column. There are four banks of 12 positions each. The user can control flow to each of the four banks. Capacity of 1 to 48 columns adaptable for size 1mL, 3mL, 6mL, 10mL or 15mL. Air Supply: N2 or compressed air regulated to 75 psi and filtered to 10μm. Dual pressure regulators allow users to set different pressures for extraction and column drying. Includes waste reservoir that drains automatically. Single switch raises and lowers the sample racks and creates an airtight seal.

The latest addition to UCT’s QuEChERS line puts a new “spin” on dSPE. SpinFiltr™ combines the practice of conventional dSPE with the added benefit of ultrafiltration. UCT’s new format of dSPE salts paired with a 0.2µm filtration device, simultaneously removes unwanted matrix compounds and filters samples without the need for any additional steps. With traditional dSPE, analysts must pay close attention when removing the purified extracts from tubes as to not disrupt the layers formed during centrifugation. SpinFiltr™ not only eliminates this problem, but also allows analysts to recover additional sample without the salts getting in the way! Simply: Add Vortex Spin Salts and unwanted matrix stay in the top chamber while purified extract is filtered and collected in the bottom portion of the tube. The chamber is discarded and analysts are left with only purified extract that is ready for analysis.

Featuring the same reliability and performance associated with our pneumatic extractors, it is designed to be more efficient and take up less space than a traditional evaporator. SPeVAP® has an exhaust port so it does not require fume hood space to operate. The sleek design and touchscreen capabilities allow for easier use and expanded functionality. SPeVAP® possesses a smaller footprint than traditional evaporators, in addition to its self-exhaust allowing for operation outside of fume hood encapsulation. In addition, the extended programming provides for gradual increase of flow gradients in tube as evaporation occurs, ensuring targeted completion. Other features include standard corrosive resistance, an on-spot PTFE nozzle adjustment and/or replacement, an easily accessible drainage port, and a color-coded view window corresponding with the individualized stage of operation.
