We have ground tens of thousands of samples on our mixer/mill. The sample is contained in a grinding vials, so there is no chance of contamination from previous samples. There are several choices for the grinding vial material for nearly every sample type. It grinds and homogenizes the samples well. The electrical and mechanical parts all wear out due to the constant vibrations during the grinding procedure, but parts are replaceable if are a good mechanic. They will provide phone support and service for your instrument if you ship it to them.
