Analyze proteins in cell and tissue samples
It is a positive-pressure liquid handler and easy to use. It has several connections for buffers, so it is used for washing and eluting. It is suitable for 96 well plates such as S-trap or any filter plates for protein purification. You can easily fetch your protocol and just click run and it will perform the steps. It has different adapters to set your plate position. Also it has range of high and low pressure to push through the liquid.

The A200 incredibly improved our throughput and reproducibility in cleaning up peptides before LC-MS analysis. Now it does not matter if we have only a few or 96 samples. It takes the same time and provides the same results. As a facility that is more and more involved in larger clinical and system biology studies, this instrument is essential for success!

The Resolvex A200 is designed to provide fully automated positive pressure solid phase extraction (ppSPE), offering hassle-free, walkaway processing in 1 ml columns and 96-well plates. It uses Tecan’s proven and reliable Cavro® syringe pump technology to accurately deliver up to 11 protocol solvents – from deionized water to hexane – via an integrated eight-channel dispensing module.
The system’s gas-based ppSPE technology maximizes reproducibility and processing uniformity across columns and plate wells, with individual channel flow restriction to guarantee robust processing of partly filled plates or column set-ups. It can also be combined with Tecan’s Fluent® or Freedom EVO® liquid handling platforms to create a fully automated workflow.
The Resolvex A200 features an intuitive touchscreen, making it easy to set up and run protocols, as well as ensuring straightforward integration with your laboratory workflows and SOPs. Fully programmable pressure profiles enable optimization of flow rates, helping to reduce processing time and provide reliable analyte recovery. The global COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a rapid increase in demand for the isolation of viral RNA. In this application note, Tecan outlines a semi-automated extraction workflow for spiked viral RNA and DNA samples using the NucleoSpin 96 Virus kit from MACHEREY-NAGEL on a Resolvex A200 positive pressure workstation. Implementation of a Resolvex A200 positive pressure workstation is shown to reduce hands-on time significantly, allowing 96 samples to be processed in approximately 60 minutes.
