Plasma proteomics is vital for identifying health and disease biomarkers, but the complexity of plasma samples poses challenges. The automated ENRICH-iST workflow addresses challenges by enriching low-abundance proteins, facilitating deeper protein identification and quantification compared to manual methods. Tecan highlights the efficiency and robustness of the automated process, showing high-throughput capabilities with minimal user intervention. It demonstrates consistent and reproducible results with over 97% overlap in protein identifications between manual and automated methods, making it a powerful tool for extensive plasma proteome studies.
