Great results of its ability. Modified one should be considered in the next products.

Application Area:

Growth of microorganisms on media plates. Eg Staphylococcus aureus, Kliebsiella sp, Echerichia coli

The product is an electric powered machine, quite easy to use and produces an average quality of results. In case of power failure, the product can't function hence an increased rate of contamination. A more affordable, easy to use machine should be considered with an automatic configuration.

Neutralization efficacy of ICR contact plates against phenolics and quaternary ammonium compounds

Culture media are developed with appropriate neutralizers or enzymes to overcome antimicrobial properties and facilitate growth of microorganisms. The recommended neutralizers against phenolics and quaternary ammonium compounds are Tween 80® and lecithin. This application note discusses the neutralizer efficacy of three different formulations of ICR contact plates, which include both neutralizers in their mixtures.

Influence of environmental sample pre-storage on counting results

The use of culture media in the form of settle and contact plates is a crucial part of aseptic manufacturing when it comes to environmental monitoring. Since the manufacturing process does not always allow for immediate transfer of samples to the incubator space, these samples may be pre-stored at interim conditions. This application note investigates the influence of different interim storage conditions on the growth of selected microorganisms and in situ surface samples on naturally contaminated surfaces.
