Modular and easy to use equipment
Electrocatalysis
Interface 1010E is an equipment that is quite practical to perform electrochemical experiments. Its modular configuration allows one to organise it in a reduced space. The cable interface is easy to assemble and organise when connected to an electrochemical cell. Furthermore, as all the potentiostats from Gamry, the availability of two Dummy cells to test either the cable interfaces and the potentiostats are very useful to determine possible damages in the equipment. We have used two of these potentiostats in a Dye Solar Cell Testing photoelectrochemical (PEC) station, and we found its use quite easy, especially in terms of the software handling. It is very easy to control both, the electrochemical measurements and the LEDs with the different wavelengths. The software is intuitive and no complications arise when designing the experiments. Considering these facts, I strongly recommend the use of these potentiostats in any electrochemistry research lab.

Cost effective, user-friendly, easy to handle, efficient, low maintenance and wide range of applications
Corrosion, Coatings, Electrochemical Cleaning, Energy storage and Hydrogen Charging
First of all, Gamry analysis software is the most user-friendly and easy to handle. Further, the device interface 1010E is very efficient and requires very low maintenance, along with a wide range of current among all the potentiostats at this cost. Also, the current and potential resolution of this equipment are the most likeable features of this device. This device is capable of handling the analysis for a wide range of applications, such as corrosion, coating, electrochemical cleaning, energy storage and hydrogen charging systems.

Dependable and highly valuable
Semiconductor industry
I have been using the potentiostat for physical electrochemical studies for 3+ years in the industry. The potentiostat has not broken down once! The graphical user interfaces on the Gamry framework and Gamry analyst software are very intuitive and powerful, in terms of initializing experiments, labeling files, displaying live collection of data, and interpreting the data. The technical support team at Gamry is easily one of the best external vendor teams I have worked with. Kudos to Gamry and wishing them the absolute best with new innovative techniques with excellence in technical delivery and value!

Battery’s Hybrid EIS
Batteries
Easy to use, both equipment and software interfaces. Students quickly manage to work independently. Battery Research in our lab is in its infancy and we are slowly overcoming challenges to interpret the data when the experiments result in good data. It has been an exercise of patience and a journey of discovery. Isn’t that what science should look like anyway?

EIS made easy
Polymer Coatings
EIS made easy. We had a different company's potentiostat, and couldn't collect the data we needed. When we switched to the 1010E, our throughput increased dramatically. Noise was reduced and throughput was greatly increased! Software is easy to use. Electrochemical parameters are easy to generate. Great product that has made my life way easier.

EIS of difficult samples
Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) is a technique that can be applied to various systems. This white paper is designed to give helpful information for systems that are a bit more challenging to measure. Typical examples would include barrier coatings, very corrosion-resistant materials, and very low impedance samples such as large supercapacitors (on the order of hundreds or thousands of Farads).
Characterization of batteries and fuel cells using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy
Alternative energy sources are becoming more prevalent as alternatives to fossil fuels become important in the electricity generation equation. Fuel cells and batteries both play their part in this arena for energy storage and conversion. Their success depends on continued improvement in performance. While there are many tools used in the characterization of these devices during all stages of developent, one stands common – electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is a powerful technique that is particularly useful for battery and fuel cell development. What makes this technique so powerful is that it is a non-destructive technique that allows you to characterize everything from materials, to cells, to modules, and even full packs.
Square-wave voltammetry
Among the many electrochemical techniques available in Gamry Instruments’ Framework™ software is square-wave voltammetry, a form of pulse voltammetry. This Application Note describes what square-wave voltammetry is, and the parameters involved.
Troubleshooting your Gamry potentiostat
In this application note, Gamry outlines how to troubleshoot, calibrate and check the EIS performance a Gamry potentiostat.
The Risks of Using Additional Cabling
Cell cables provide the vital connection between your electrochemical cell and the potentiostat but are associated with the production of significant noise and data distortion. This technical note illustrates why this is the case, and what you can do about it.
How to Set Up Your Electrochemical Experiment: Two-, Three-, and Four-Electrode Experiments
This applcication note explores and explains the setup of Gamry Instruments potentiostats in a series of electrode experiments. This note is applicable to any Gamry potentiostat, as well as some others.
Accuracy Contour Plots – Measurement and Discussion
Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) is an indispensable, valuable, and versatile analytical tool for resolving electrochemical processes. This technical note discusses the Accuracy Contour Plot (ACP). The ACP gives the user valuable information about a potentiostat’s EIS performance and accuracy, enabling the user to compare the EIS capability of any potentiostat.
