The variable speed aliquoting Ali Q2 pipet aid is just fantastic. I use it daily for measuring liquids but my favorite part is the aliquoting feature, which makes adding the same volume of liquids to 6/12/48-well plates easy and fast. Also, the speed control by adjusting pressure on the triggers works smoothly, and I love that the aliquoting speeds can be adjusted as well because I can aliquot liquids in plates with attached adherent cells slowly without worrying about detaching them.

Drug delivery system development & general cell culture
This pipette controller is amazing and an absolute MUST for any lab that does large amounts of cell/tissue culture and/or samples analyses/processing. It greatly reduces all strain in the user's hands and prevents the user from having a claw-hand at the end of the day. This is the second position I've been in where my boss was kind enough to get one of these controllers for us and it pays for itself in terms of user efficiency and overall improvement of user-health - minimal hand strain!

Pipetting of biological samples
We love this automated pipettor! It is the only product on the market that allows a repeat function at this volume and it has helped to make processing of blood so much easier. We did have one small problem with the charging function, but I called customer service to reset the instrument, and it has been working great ever since.

A must have for accurate and efficient aliquotting

The ali-Q 2 is the one of the most useful lab tools I have ever used. The ali-Q 2 delivers an accurate volume so you can focus on delivering to an accurate location. It makes aliquotting buffers for serial dilutions easy to do in a single step. It's great for adding medium to 24-well cell culture plates and 24-well cell culture inserts. The convenience of being able to use a standard serological pipet is a huge advantage over other instruments that require a separate consumable.

Just like the other serological pipettors but with an additional bang, a pre measured volume which is a big plus when I aliquot solutions and distributing fairly same amount in every vessel as oppose to visual estimates.
