Description
Heptanesulfonic acid sodium salt is an anionic surfactant. As the name suggests, it is the sodium salt form of a 7-carbon tail attached to a polar sulfate head. The polar headgroup gives the compound its amphiphilic properties, making it an effective ion-pair reagent. GK4832 is HPLC grade and supplied as a white powder.
