"It is easy to use with an easy platform for analysis. The only difficult part is keeping your animal asleep/alive if you are doing a long time study, since the animal needs to be kept very still or else there will be a "ghost" effect."

"With this product I follow brain xenograft growth, however at times when the tumor doesn't grow in a "bulk" the luciferase read can be inconsistent and non-linear when you image on a time course."

"Actually, I have an IVIS Spectrum, without the CT component. I have found the original IVIS Spectrum to be of great use to our studies, which related to examination of molecular determinants of tumour progression and also evaluation of novel therapeutic agents. I am glad to see the CT variant in existence and would buy it if I had the money."

"This equipment is really helpful and easier to use in order to follow the therapeutics in vivo models and also to track the dynamics of tumor growth. We are using this equipment so frequently for detect different fluorochromes for biodistribution purpose."

"This product is very friendly to use and gives the opportunity to work with different channels at the same time. In my field we can track different components of our nanoparticles and we can know the dynamics of our particles."
The IVIS® Spectrum CT offers the ultimate performance and range of applications for in vivo imaging - leading edge molecular AND anatomical imaging in a single integrated system.
The system enables simultaneous synchronization of functional and antomical data, co-registered for true quantitative 3D imaging.
The IVIS Spectrum CT maintains the versatility and the most advanced optical imaging features similar to the market-leading imaging platform, the IVIS Spectrum. Moreover, the IVIS Spectrum CT offers low does and ultrafast microCT for simultaneous imaging of multiple animals. The average dose per scan is about 10mGy with scanning and reconstruction times of less than one minute.
