Due to the trend towards increasingly smaller volumes, it is becoming evermore important to minimise any interactions between the analytes and the reaction tubes. Sarstedt has therefore developed a reaction tube that has been specially optimised for the requirements of DNA analytics. A new type of polypropylene, free from any kind of surface coating, maximises the DNA recovery rate. Minimising DNA loss, especially for the often low DNA concentrations present, is essential to enable further analyses.
