The ProScan III control system is an extraordinarily versatile and powerful control system for Prior ProScan products controlling; motorised stages, focus drivers, filter wheels, shutters and robotic sample loaders with the speed, repeatability and precision, suited for the most demanding applications in the life sciences. Designed to be as flexible as possible, the ProScan III utilises a ‘plug and play’ system, so connection to Prior equipment is simple and fast. TTL facilities are also available for both Prior equipment and other equipment (such as cameras) for applications that require perfect synchronisation. Prior’s patented Intelligent Scanning Technology (IST) is included as standard , assuring accurate and repeatable movement.
The ProScan’s modular design allows a system to be easily configured, and additional modules can be added later to increase the systems functionality creating an advanced system perfectly suited to the precise needs of the user. The ProScan III is compatible with the majority of microscopy imaging software and is simple to integrate into the overall microscopy system. Connection is via USB or RS232, and programmable TTL for rapid interfacing is also possible.
