Advancing molecular biology research: Innovations and collaborations at PCR Biosystems

In this video, Dr. Shane Sanassy, an International Sales Manager for PCR Biosystems, and Dr. Matteo Beretta, a Senior Molecular Biologist and Commercial R&D Director for PCR Biosystems, discuss the company’s goal of simplifying molecular biology research and assay design, and its unique product development strategy for high-quality enzymes. They introduce innovative products including the air-dryable mix for room temperature stability in IVD assays and the VeriFi Library Amplification Mix for GC bias-free NGS libraries. Beretta also explains the importance of the buffer component and PCR Biosystems’ capability in improving its composition.

Air-Dryable Probe Mix

PCR Biosystems

Air-Dryable Probe Mix is a versatile, air-dryable 4x qPCR reagent mix for ultra-sensitive detection of DNA sequences. The mix is glycerol-free and contains hot start Taq polymerase, dNTPs, Mg and a blend of excipients to ensure reliable air-drying, without loss of activity.
