Overall it is a great instrument with high precision, multiple uses and good performance

Average Rating 4.7

Application Area:

Protein The characterization and identification in milk, cholostrum and semen, antibodies

Xevo is very effective and in our area of application. Result reproducibility is slightly difficult may be a issue at user end in sample prep. Also one issue is that it is difficult to analyze data produced by this instrument in any other related external software. overall a great beast!

Addressing the global challenge of PFAS contamination

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a class of synthetic chemicals that pose significant environmental and health challenges due to their persistence and bioaccumulation. PFAS testing is one of the most pressing issues facing analytical labs today. As global attention grows, so does the demand for reliable answers.

Technologies such as liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/ MS) and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) can be essential for assessing PFAS contamination accurately. Discover how advanced LC-MS/MS and HRMS technologies are helping scientists and regulators tackle PFAS challenges head-on.

From sample preparation to data analysis, explore how Waters Corporation provides the tools needed to measure, manage, and mitigate the impact of PFAS, driving scientific progress and regulatory compliance.

Markers for COVID-19 disease progression: Comprehensive LC-MS characterization of the metabolome with the Xevo G3 QTof

During this webinar you’ll learn about the recently launched Xevo G3 QTof system and discover how it's solving problems that matter.

Professor Clare Mills discusses the use of an LC/MS metabolomics approach to profile serum from COVID-19 inpatients. Here they describe how to identify and characterize prognostic biomarkers to support the development of mass spectrometry rapid clinical screening tools.

Tune in to hear more about how the team are planning to characterize immune disfunction as a consequence of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Key learning objectives

  • Discover how the new Xevo G3 QTof system provides comprehensive characterization of analytes
  • Develop an understanding of LC/MS and its use in metabolomic and lipidomic studies
  • Delve into the world of omics, identifying statistically relevant markers for disease and the impact on patients

Who should attend?

  • Scientists interested in characterizing a range of analytes with LC/MS
  • Lab managers who want high-throughput, benchtop QTof technology that helps solve problems in their lab
