This SQD detector does what it is purchased for. Very basic function, but it does serve the purpose. It is easy to use. The software comes with it is Masslynx. I would recommend it if all you want is just to get the basic information, nothing fancy.

Bromates found in drinking water pose a toxic health risk to humans if ingested in significant quantities. This application note describes the analysis of free bromated ions in tap water using an ACQUITY UPLC BEH Amide Column.
