Excellent, repeatable results
For analyte analysis
The Buchi Rotavapor R-100 was very easy to use. We could leave it running unattended after setup and it would work well, every time. We always had excellent, repeatable results. If we needed any technical assistance, Buchi was always there to assist with our needs. We had to use it in a lab that was several hundred miles away and it was easy to pack and ship. We had no breakage. However, we did not let our students use it, so I cannot speak to how users, who did not have a good lab knowledge, might use it.

I work in a lab that's particularly rough on equipment and we needed a very reliable rotovap that could be easily repaired and has excellent service coverage. The Büchi R-100 fit the ticket perfectly: well built, with easily sourced parts and none of the complex gadgetry that has become fashionable with modern rotovaps. So far, we've been very satisfied with our purchase of four R-100s and when we had an issue, we were able to quickly have a local Büchi engineer take a look at it and repair it on the spot!
