Robust and pH stable process biochromatography material: YMC-Triart Prep Bio200 C8 from YMC Europe
Highly robust hybrid silica material for the purification of proteins, peptides and oligonucleotides, which combines mechanical strength and pH stability.
YMC-Triart Prep Bio200 C8 is especially designed for industrial-scale applications of larger peptides, specifically insulin, proteins, and oligonucleotides. This organic-inorganic hybrid silica-based material contains organic groups within the silicon dioxide network, making it more resistant to a wider pH range.
The innovative YMC-Triart Prep Bio200 C8 combines mechanical strength and pH stability which allows more flexibility for process development. It can be used in a pH range of 2.0 - 10.0 and allows efficient cleaning-in-place (CIP) procedures. YMC-Triart Prep Bio200 C8 provides good peak shapes even after 300 alkaline cleaning cycles!
Compared to traditional silica-based widepore C8 materials YMC-Triart Prep Bio200 C8 has been shown to have more than 3-fold longer lifetime. In addition to the longer lifetime YMC-Triart Prep Bio200 C8 provides high loadability at low fraction volume which results in a higher productivity. The results mean improved production procedures and reduced overall costs.
