Good for RNA isolation from a certain fraction of frozen tissue.
Application Area: Treat frozen organ for further dissection, RNA application toward RNA sequencing
"It is very easy to use. A plus is that when the reagent penetrated the tissue, it denatures protein and the tissue become pliable while easy to dissect. We applied it to small and large intestine, the mucosa separation was very clean. RNA quality well preserved. Good reagent for archived frozen samples, especially when RNA from a certain fraction of tissue is needed (requires further dissection). Highly recommend."

Reliable and high yield for RNA isolation from a certain fraction of samples.
Application Area:RNA preservation and isolation
"Aside from the recommended use by the manufacture, we use it to isolate RNA from a fraction of archived frozen sample. The sample we treated with the RNAlater ICE was pig intestine. After treatment, the proteins in the intestine were denatured and hardened somehow, making it easy to dissect out the desired fraction. The RNA was preserved and the yield was high. Highly recommend this product."
RNAlater®-ICE is a novel reagent for transitioning frozen tissue to a state that is easily processed for extraction of high quality RNA. Frozen tissues are simply submerged in RNAlater®-ICE and allowed to thaw overnight at -20°C. Once thawed, the tissues can be processed like fresh tissues using standard RNA isolation procedures. No more laborious grinding of frozen tissue to safeguard the RNA.
