It processes 12 samples in about an hour using the same protocols and reagents that are used when the samples are processed by hand. If your samples are critical and you cannot afford to lose them then this is the platform of choice. We use the Qiacube for isolating pathogen and host samples from field collected or clinical samples. Often there is only enough samples for one try. We have used Qiagen in some of our remote lab collections in places where power failures are common.
