Great Instrument. Hope to add the MS
Application Area: 1. Pesticides in food and environment. 2. Fatty acids as methyl esters in vegetable oils.
"Produces high quality reproducible results. Quite sensitive, robust, easy to use and the software is user friendly. No need to export data into any spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel. Column change in the oven is quite friendly and easy with the jigs. Rare problems with sample pick up in vials by auto sampler. Cool down time quite fast."

Not so bad but not the best. It does the work but count on yourself to solve troubles
Application Area:Organic acids for metabolic disorder diagnostic
"The instrument is not so bad but the software is to complicated. It should be more customizable and show only what you need. After sales service is not on top because of a lack of engineers in our area I guess. It was closed during holidays..."

The Shimadzu single quadrupole GCMS-QP2010 SE gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer offers reliable, cost-effective productivity for the most challenging laboratory analyses.
The GCMS-QP2010 SE has the versatile functionality and robust, simple operation necessary for high-throughput production laboratories performing routine analyses. The GCMS-QP2010 SE is compatible with column flows up to 4 mL/minute (He), has pre-rods to reduce contamination of the mass filter, scan at speeds up to 10,000 u/second, and includes three operation modes: scan, SIM, and scan/SIM. The ion source is equipped with an automatic-switching dual filament to minimize maintenance.
Acquired mass spectra can be searched against NIST, Wiley, and custom mass spectral libraries. Report formats can be easily and quickly customized.
