Measuring viruses in tissue

We have been using this viral capture panel for about 1 year in our lab. We have been testing against tissues with known viruses, controls and unknowns and so far it has performed incredibly well in FFPE. The reagent cost is extremely reasonable and addition of UDI primers allows for pooling to decrease cost of sequencing. Establishing the protocol to use these reagents was a bit difficult to begin as the protocols are vague to allow for multiple library prep/sequencing options. However, TWIST technical support was very knowledgeable and friendly as we worked through optimizing the best method for our lab. We will continue to use TWIST reagents for the foreseeable future because they are great to work with and the results are reproducible.
