Cell sorting with imaging and analysis for assurance of monoclonality

The CloneSelect™ Single-Cell Printer™ (SCP) utilizes microfluidics technology and real-time image analysis to sort and deposit single cells into standard microplates. An innovative cartridge, similar to ink-jet printing technology, is used for one-way dispensing. It can print a 96-well plate in 5 to 10 minutes and works with 384-well plates. Five images are captured as cells dispense, providing proof of single-cell isolation.

Sort single cells with efficiency

Sort single cells with higher efficiency (>80%) than limiting dilution and with higher viability than flow sorting (average between 50 – 90% depending on cell conditions).

Capture proof of cell isolation

Capture a sequence of five images as the cell is dispensed, providing image evidence of monoclonality. Wide depth-of-field and 10x magnification ensures image focus 99% of the time.

Differentiate single cells easily

Differentiate quickly between single cells, multi-cell, no cells, and debris with high-resolution imaging with proprietary algorithms. Single cells are plated while unwanted samples are siphoned away.
