One of the best, most used machines in the lab
Rating: 5.0

  • Application Area: Biochemistry, Western blots (fluorescent and chemiluminescent), ELISA

"The Sapphire imager is one of our lab's main work horse instruments. It is used on a daily basis for fluorescent and chemiluminescent imaging of Western blots and plates. The image quality and resolution of the imager are top notch. The ability to image a single blot in multiple wavelengths is a great advantage as it saves precious samples, time and reagents. Customer support has been awesome and I would highly recommend this instrument to anyone looking to add fluorescent scanning to their lab."

Excellent scanning results, perfect service team.
Rating: 5.0

  • Application Area:Radioisotpe RNA gel scanning

"The scanner is definitly the top model available on the market. It starts up fast, and doesnt need to warm up. The scanning is very sharp and time saving. It also gives a wide range of intensity dynamics. This machine gives us excellent publishing grade results. We recently relocated the machine, and our sales and service care manager Nicole gave us a lot of instruction on transporting and hand on hand calibration. She is very kind and responsible. We are all looking forward to cooperating with her in our coming new lab next year."

Great value, powerful, flexible, reliable. Buy it!
Rating: 5.0

  • Application Area:Imaging western blots, in-cell westerns, tissue samples

"This is a high quality imager that has a strong value for the usability vs. price. The imager is highly programmable, supporting multiple applications, and returns sensitive and high quality data. The imager has also been reliable, with no errors, breakdowns, or problems. Adding to this, the sales staff, particularly David Grothen, are fantastic. They have worked with us, got us a great deal, and have been very supportive post-purchase. Buy it, you won't be sorry!"

A high quality instrument, easy to use and provides excellent results.
Rating: 4.3

  • Application Area:Laboratory imaging laser scanning system.

"A last generation instrument of the highest quality. Thanks to its laser scanning technology, it allows us to clearly capture images in our laboratory, thus achieving a high efficiency index for all our biomolecular investigations. The range of images is can produce is broad, which allows us to generate images and results from even the smallest samples. In addition, it has a friendly, updated and intuitive interface that allows a simple experience for the operator. I can conclude that the Sapphire Biomolecular Imager is a piece of equipment that any laboratory should have, I have not really found any negative feature so I recommend it."

Highly recommended for electrophoresis, cell-based, or slide-based analyses.
Rating: 5.0

  • Application Area:Neuroscience

"We purchased this imager to replace our obsolete typhoon scanner and could not be happier with the performance and ease of use. Equipped with multiple lasers, it is possible to probe for many proteins at high resolution and with great sensitivity. We primarily use the system for western blotting and fluorescent slide scanning and have had clear, publishable results. The software is easy to use and has many practical features. Customer service is amazing – they are always available, informative, and as scientists, they assist with troubleshooting experimental design and optimizing results. This product is highly recommended for anyone who routinely uses electrophoresis, cell-based, or slide-based analyses with fluorescent or chemiluminescent detection."

Professional regular service and technical support without delay when asked.
Rating: 5.0

  • Application Area:Biological product quality control related products and services

"Sapphire RGBIR is a powerful and quality laser scanner in our laboratory. Its high-performance laser light sources, high-sensitivity detector and 10μm highest resolution gives us high-quality data; Its multiplex fluorescence channels and CCD-based function makes us can develop several methods to verify and get an accurate result. For us, the most important thing of the large precision instrument besides good quality, performance is service. Azure's good service is better than most of other manufacturers because of the professional regular service about twice a year and the technical support without delay when asked."
