Worth looking at!
Application Area:Water samples
"Pros: easy to use and set up. overall very satisfied. like the 2 reservoir bottles. Cons: need larger standard vials. Dip switches on bottom and need to totally disconnect and empty interior to change. Request: drivers for Agilent 8800/8900 system."

Worked Out Initial Kinks, Now Works Great
Application Area:Semiconductor
"I purchased this autosampler several years ago when it was new on the market to replace the older ASX-100 units. The CETAC company was not Teledyne just yet. The unit has a solid construction and I selected this system due to its small footprint size and familiarity of use. However, when we first received the unit and tried to adapt to an older ICP-MS (Agilent 7500cs), the CETAC folks did not provide a direct vial location to coordinate with the older ASX-100 unit, but had me use a template that corresponded with an ASX-500. The vial locations were completely different and graphic did not match the unit. After I rejected the unit, CETAC folks were able to make internal switch adjustment to adapt this unit to match the ASX-100. I also had an issue with the z-axis cable. It was made out of PEEK material and deteriorated after a couple months’ use. It was soon replaced with a Teflon version. I purchased a 2nd unit shortly after and the same issues occurred. The CETAC company switched to Teledyne and no issues have reoccurred with the units. They have been in service and operating in a 24/7 lab. I believe this was a one-time flaw on the first generation units. Additionally, I purchased this type of unit over the ASX-112FR due to the pricing. The ASX-112FR features a set of clean solution rinse bottles supplied by N2. Instead of spending the additional cost for this feature, I was able to remove the rinse block assembly and install a tall vial large enough and clean enough to provide the same clean rinse results. Both of my units are working perfectly and with no added contamination. "
The ASX-110FR Flowing Rinse Micro Autosampler is the solution for low volume and ultra trace applications. It is specifically designed for use with ICP-MS and High Resolution ICP-MS systems.
The ASX-110FR features dual continuous flow rinse stations, which can operate in gas displacement or peristaltic pump mode to minimize sample contamination and carryover.
All sample vials, racks, and trays are metal-free and made of acid resistant, high-purity polymer materials. In addition, the ASX-110FR has an integrated enclosure hood to minimize sample contamination. Samples may be accessed while the unit is in operation through a hinged door or by removing the entire hood.
