Good choice for POCT iPTH.
Intraoperative parathyroid
The AIA 360 is one of the few methods available for performing parathyroid testing intraoperatively at the point of care. Although it is moderately complex our nursing staff find it reliable and easy to use. The run time of 20 minutes is comparable with a stat assay in the main laboratory. Although POC will never be as cost effective as a laboratory assay the TOSOH keeps our surgeons happy.

In office same day Hormone testing
I would never get this machine again, the controls and dry reagents are too expensive as is the machine per month, poor customer service, takes a long time for them to get back to us if we have problems or issues. We are locked in a contract that will not allow us to return the machine and it is costing us a fortune just sitting there. Couldn't afford to continue using this machine. When calibrations are off, no one to talk to, we get passed from one part of the company to another when we call in.

We are a small POL that does our T4, TSH and PSA on the Tosoh AIA-360. Not only is it a very user-friendly analyzer, it has also proved economical for us. The instrument runs on individual test cups which mean no waste of reagents. Calibrations are good for 3 months unless there is a lot number change. All in all, a tough little work-horse. We have been extremely satisfied

Immunoassay and Cardiac Markers
The TOSOH AIA360 is relatively easy to use. Loading specimens and Reagent cups is a breeze. You must remember to add a specimen number or it will run it as, for example “Sample 1, sample 2,” etc.

Biochemistry
This instrument is suitable for smaller laboratories for acute and routine testing. We use it for 5 years it fits for different workloads from 1 stat sample with different parameters till small series e.g. thyroid examinations, or just use it for special test to fill the gap in laboratory portfolio. It may also serve as backup for bigger analysers. It was not necessary ask for company service during the use of this instrument.
