Compatible with the Nikon FNI/Ni, the Olympus BX51/61WI and the Zeiss Axio Examiner, the Z Deck offers an exceptionally stable height adjustable platform, ideal for neuroscientific or electrophysiological work.
A large top plate gives an extensive surface area to allow the creation of complex experimental set ups, whilst the breadboard pattern is ideal for mounting equipment. The Z Deck is able to switch between imaging heights in seconds thanks to pneumatic piston towers which allow almost effortless lowering and raising of the platform. The Z-Deck is compatible with most commercially available vibration isolation tables. A Motorised Z-Deck, with an integral precision motorised stage driven by the ProScan control system produces no electrical noise when the motors are switched off, allowing sensitive electrophysiological recording to take place. A manual version is also available, as is a fixed Z-Deck for when XY movement is not required.
