The Lumen 100 provides accurate and instant control of a single compact LED light source which couples directly to the microscope or imaging system – ideal for fluorescence applications.
The LEDs have an operational lifetime of over 25,000 hours, instant turn on/off, no warm up and cool down time require, and provide a narrow spectrum LED illumination. A choice of ten individual wavelength LEDs, spanning the spectrum from 365 – 660 nm or a white light LED, are available. Each LEDs unit can be quickly and easily swapped should the need arise. The light emitted can be controlled in 1% increments, from 0-100%. Heat and vibration production is low. The unit can be controlled from a computer via RS232 or USB, or operated as a stand-alone device. Adapters are available to connect this device to a wide variety of upright and inverted microscopes.
