Designed for upright microscopes, the H101A range of motorised stages from Prior Scientific offers precise movement.
Accepting a range of low profile sample holders (including standard slides, microtitre plates and Petri dishes) this stage offers convenient precision for a vast range of applications in the life sciences. Using a motorised stage increases precision and allows the possibility of automation. Depending on the exact use to which it will be put, the H101A stage can accept linear encoders, and a choice of motor types and ball screw sizes are available. An S-shaped acceleration curve ensures smooth movement, reducing disruption to samples. Patented Intelligent Scanning Technology assures the repeatability and accuracy of the stage. For applications requiring the highest precision possible, repeatability can be enhanced with the addition of 100 nm linear encoders.

- Minimum step size: 0.04/0.02/0.01 µm depending on ball screw and motor type
- Maximum speed: 100/50 /25 mm/s depending on ball screw and motor type
- Ball Screw: Choice of 1 or 2 mm
- Motor Type: Choice of 400 or 200 stepper motor
- Encoders: Option of 100 nm
- Controlled by the ProScan® system
