Application Note: Using Multi-Angle Dynamic Light Scattering (MADLS) to Measure Concentration of Adeno-Associated Virus
1 August 2018

During the development and production of viruses, it is important to know the viral concentration at different stages of the process. This data can be used to optimize the clone used as well as the production yields. With the new multi-angle dynamic light scattering (MADLS) concentration measurement on the Zetasizer Ultra, it is now possible to measure viral concentration within a few minutes. This application note demonstrates that Zetasizer Ultra is an effective instrument in recording adeno-associated viral concentration.
