The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) has identified thousands of monographs that need revision to meet the growing demands of high throughput analysis in the modern-day pharmaceutical industry. Much of the focus is on replacing older HPLC tests with faster methods based on state of the art liquid chromatography, while keeping in line with defined guidelines from the USP on permitted changes to various chromatographic parameters.
