Cleaning various items used in ultra-trace analysis work is a critically important laboratory routine. traceCLEAN assures best cleaning quality of your TFM, glass and quartz parts for ICP/ICP-MS accessories. Any trace metal contaminants stay within the reservoir and do not come in contact with the cleaned trace accessories. The cleaning process with the traceCLEAN takes about an hour, enhancing the overall lab workflow. 

The QuEChERS Clean-up step is rapidly completed using the QuICK QuEChERS cartridge. This self-contained cartridge contains 110 mg of anhydrous MgSO4 and 180 mg of PSA. Placed on the end of a disposable syringe, the QuEChERS extract is pushed through directly into a sample vial for analysis. Clean-up is equivalent to dSPE clean-up, but faster and easier, eliminating the need for centrifugation.

Pre-packed 6 ml anion exchange SPE cartridges are made to the exact specification of EPA Method 548 to assure high capture efficiency and consistent results for excellent analytical reproducibility.

Airborne laboratory contamination may interfere with solid-phase extraction results. This problem is easily prevented by using the Zero-Blank filter. Using an adaptor (included), this cartridge is fitted on top of the SPE cartridge during the drying step and captures potential contamination making results more accurate.

Clean, activated, and ready-for-use, 30 mesh copper granules remove unwanted elemental sulfur from pesticide and PCB extracts. Granules are much easier to use than copper powder or TBA and eliminate the need for toxic mercury.

Chlorophyll in QuEChERS extracts must be removed to reduce potential instrument downtime. This is removed from extracts using graphitized carbon black (GCB) Unfortunately, GCB also removes planar analytes reducing analytical accuracy. ChloroFiltr®, used in place of GCB in dSPE tubes, removes unwanted chlorophyll without removing pesticides or environmental analytes. No change in procedure are required.

When clean plastic cartridges are not clean enough. 6 mL glass SPE cartridges can be packed with your choice of UCT sorbent using PTFE frits and individually sealed in certified Mylar for purity.

The same clean polypropylene tubes we use in our own column assemblies are available as an empty tube. Available in 1mL through 150mL tube sizes. The flange on the lip means the columns are suitable for use with UCT's positive pressure manifold as well as with vacuum manifold systems.
