XPR micro-analytical balances are perfect for accurately weighing the smallest amounts of your valuable samples directly into labware of different sizes. The extremely high accuracy and low minimum weight make it possible to weigh very small quantities, leading to considerable material and cost savings.

XPR micro-analytical balances have a readability range between 0.001 mg and 0.01 mg, and capacities up to 52 g, to cover all your requirements for micro-analytical weighing.

Key Features:

  • Ensure Compliance with Built-in Functions

Integrated quality assurance functions help you to achieve right-first-time results. StatusLight™, LevelControl and GWP Approved work actively to ensure all the relevant conditions for correct weighing are satisfied.

  • Small Samples, Big Savings

With XPR micro-analytical balances you are able to weigh very small sample quantities directly into larger tare containers, with unrivalled accuracy. Not only do you use less of your most valuable substances (thanks to a minimum weight of just 1.4 mg, according to USP), but you minimize waste too. Furthermore, our inner draft shield concept, allows you to minimize the influence of air drafts and to achieve accurate and stable results faster.

  • Less sample transfer

By dosing directly into a tare container, you avoid the tedious back-weighing and recalculation processes associated with sample transfer via e.g. weighing paper – and you don’t lose any of your precious samples.

  • Fast and stable results

The SmartGrid weighing pan significantly reduces the effects of air turbulence on the weighing cell. Stabilization time is shorter and results are faster – which is particularly beneficial when working in a fume cupboard.

  • Detect electrostatic charges

For very small samples, electrostatic charging can significantly influence the recorded weight value. Our patented StaticDetect technology automatically detects static charges on samples and containers and provides a warning if the measured error exceeds predefined tolerances.

  • Easy Cleaning to Avoid Contamination

Each panel of both the inner and outer draft shield can be removed quickly and easily – and without any tools. The SmartGrid weighing pan and tray underneath simply lift out. All parts are dishwasher-safe for fast and effective cleaning.

  • Solutions for Reporting and Data Integrity in Analytical Weighing

Effortless Data Integrity: Connect all your Excellence laboratory instruments to LabX software for full support with regulatory compliance. With SOP user guidance on the balance display, automated recording, calculation and transfer of data (including metadata), and a secure centralized database, LabX helps you meet  MHRA and FDA 21 CFR part 11 requirements for data integrity.

Automatically generate customized reports: Thanks to LabX, you can print out a report automatically at the end of each process. All data is saved securely in a centralized database enabling results to be accessible and reports to be generated at any time. This is especially relevant, for example, when preparing standards and sample solutions for research projects. The user can define which set of data is most relevant for his experiment and create reports accordingly.
