Format
Reconstitution
Supplied as purified and lyophilized antibody. The antibody is stable for at least one year from the data of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody (suggesting with sterile PBS) can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for months without detectable loss activity. Upon reconstitution, the antibody can be stored at 4°C for 1 month. If 1 ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 50 µg/ml. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity
His-tag Monoclonal Antibody. Recognizes His- tagged recombinant proteins or His-tagged proteins over-expressed in cells.
Applications
Immunostaining (recommended work dilution= 1:200); Western Blotting (recommended work dilution= 1:1000); Immunoprecipitation (recommended work dilution= 1:200); (see image1) His Western Blot analysis of 293 cells transfected from with His-tagged vector (2) and untransfected control (1). (see image2) Immunofluorescence staining of His-tag fusion protein in 293 cells. A: transfected control; B: transfected
Storage
Stable for one year at -–20°C from date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Aliquot will be stable at 4°C for 3 months.
