Great piece of equipment for studying molecular interactions.

"It is a great equipment to study molecular interactions. It is very easy to use during setup and data analysis. Software is intuitive and provides data explanation after experiment. Although consumable purchasing in Canada is not the greatest. Supply chain in Canada is very weak (need to plan experiments well in advance to make sure you have everything)."

The Monolith NT.Automated comprises all benefits of the MicroScale Thermophoresis technology and the experimental setups as applied for the Monolith series. The Monolith NT.Automated however is now able to accommodate 96 samples at a time including a robot-compatible sample preparation and reducing the overall handling time by more than 90 %.

Benefits:

  • Low sample consumption - < 3 µl sample as low as 10 pM concentration
  • Fast Measurement - As fast as 10 seconds per data point
  • Dynamic Range - pM to mM dissociation constants
  • No Downtime - Instruments need no calibration, equilibration or washing steps

Maximum throughput for single-point measurements and dissociation constants:

  • 96 compounds in 16 min with a protein consumption of 0.96 picogram
  • 8 Kds in 16 min with a protein consumption of 0.12 picogram for each binding curve
