The MiliQ water deionization system has revolutionised the use of water in the laboratory as well as our budget! Also it is much more ecological! Immagine that for high sensitive LC-HR-MS system we needed to order highly pure water, which had to travel hundreds of km in heavy glass bottles. We also had to find a place for its storage! Nowadays with MiliQ it is so easy, we can just bring a clean bottle and get high quality pure water in few seconds! I am using it every day for the preparation of eluents for: RP-LC, LC-MS, MS, SEC-MALS, sample preparation and many others! It is the solvent number one in my laboratory!

This system is very easy to use, especially compared to the older Milli-Q Reference system. Intuitive to use and the setting of the dispensing rate is a great feature for work that requires a bit more accuracy.

Superior quality water and great service.
High purity water for general laboratory use
The Milli-Q 7005 water purification system replaced one from a different manufacturer. The Milli-Q provides superior water quality while using less filter replacements. The Millipore Sigma sales and service team helped us transition seamlessly from the other manufacturer and provided outstanding support. The consumables are easier to replace and less expensive compared to the unit from a different manufacturer.

MilliporeSigma has created a new, intelligent storage solution that protects the quality of stored water better than ever before. Unique design features include system auto-rinsing prior to production to ensure only highest quality pure water enters the tank; a seamlessly integrated vent filter for improved protection against airborne contaminants; a built-in ech2o® bactericidal UVC LED lamp; and automatic recirculation of stored water through the purification loop preserves water quality in the tank.
