Great and simple result giving interface

"Great instrument giving clear results in short time. Temp controlling makes it easy to estimate temp for crystallization and potential protein aggregation. Kd analysis helps to modify ionic strength of the buffers. Connection easy to set up to computer in case your computer crashes. Wyatt staff very helpful in troubleshooting and analysis of results. After sale care is very good. You will not be left alone after warranty expires."

The DynaPro® NanoStar® is a cuvette-based dynamic light scattering (DLS) instrument used for the analysis of the size and size distributions of peptides, proteins, polymers, nanoparticles and emulsions. A separate, optimized static light scattering (SLS) channel offers true molar mass measurements.

The NanoStar is among the most sensitive, robust and reliable DLS detectors available for protein and nanoparticle analysis.

Features: 

  • Sensitivity: 0.1 mg/mL of 14.4 kDa lysozyme
  • Hydrodynamic radius (Rh) range: 0.2 – 2500 nm 
  • Molar mass range: 300 Da – 1 MDa
  • Temperature control: heated/cooled -15 to  +150°C, 
  • Minimum sample requirement: 1.25 µL in quartz microcuvette, 4 µL in disposable microcuvette
  • Optional infrared laser wavelength to eliminate fluorescence 
  • Can connect via optical fiber to a MALS detector for simultaneous online MALS and DLS measurement with size exclusion chromatography (SEC) or field-flow fractionation (FFF)
  • Touch-panel display for immediate access to data, diagnostics and settings
  • Software: DYNAMICS® analysis software offers comprehensive analysis of size and size distributions, molar mass, diffusion interaction parameter kD, second virial coefficient A2, thermal behavior Tagg/Tm/Tonset, DLS-based viscosity; full export of all results; optional 21CFR11 support for GMP
