Surface area and porosity analysis

The ASAP 2020 produces great results, is fairly straightforward to use, and is a workhorse. It has many ports to hook up a number of gases and has optional systems for running chemisorption and doing humidity work. The software took some getting used to, but from what I understand, the software that comes with newer models is very user friendly. I have also had some issues with power supply inconsistencies to degas valves, but the tech support has been very helpful in assisting to troubleshoot and provide guidance. I took the week long course on physi- and chemisorption at their headquarters near Atlanta, GA, and was very satisfied with how much I learned.
