Great analyzer

We have used the Ortho Vitros 7600 since 2021. Overall, the analysers are great. We do find that consumables are having to be replaced much more often than we should such as probes, motors, and plastics. The field service engineer is the best in the whole region. Customer Service and Assay Support are very helpful with troubleshooting any needs, but the hold time is usually over 1 hour. They are very thorough though. Overall it's a great product. I just wish they would get hs-Trop approved soon. Our hospital is in great need of having this on board.

We just performed correlation between three instruments. Excellent Correlation. Very reliable. Easy to use once you get used to it. Great purchase. TAT for Basic panels is just under 5 minutes due to dry slide technology.

Ortho Vitros 7600 Review
CHEMISTRY SUPERVISOR
Ortho Vitros 7600 are easy to use and maintain. Maintenance for daily is not bad, weekly and monthly maintenance are a bit cumbersome. Customer service is very helpful. Our field service specialist is our favorite. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Ortho's and always finds out how to fix the analyzers. I like the reproducibility of the analyzers, but the reagents and calibrators are often faulty and need significant troubleshooting. Assay Support and Tech Support are both very helpful. I call them almost every day to troubleshoot several issues that arise. Overall, the product is a great product, but every Chemistry platform comes with issues.
