The latest edition of the well-known Quadra line, the Quadra 5 is an intuitive pipetting system with six stations that supports a range of accessories for automated sample prep like SPE, magnetic bead cleanup, dilutions and standards additions. The system can be equipped with 24, 96 or 384 tip pipetting heads. With an optional plate-stacker, the Quadra5 can be used to queue up to 50 assays.
With both air displacement pipetting or positive displacement design available, in conjunction with an indexing microplate stage, and a range of accessories, the Quadra5 allows the support of complex liquid handling workloads typically found only on much larger workstations. Available options such as SPE Liquid/Liquid extraction, optional positive pressure SPE, ultrasonic tip washing, shaker plates and heating/cooling accessories allow for a wide range of applications at high throughput.
