The Qcut 200 A is QATM's compact, precision wet abrasive cut-off machine — the fourth-generation successor to the popular Brilliant 220. It remains unique on the market for its large cut-off machine design in table format. With up to three fully automatic precision axes with backlash-free bearings and multiple cutting functions (travel cut, chop cut, and step-cut), it minimizes contact area with the cut-off wheel and optimizes the angle of action, making it ideal for solid materials. Thanks to its modular design, the machine can be optimally equipped using QATM's Easy clamping system, which fastens tools to the table with just one screw. In grinding mode with a cup wheel, the Qcut 200 A also enables highly precise thin sections with an accuracy of 5 µm. A modular turning device additionally allows rotational cuts to be performed.
The new cooling system provides approximately 25% higher flow rate than comparable machines, reducing cut-off wheel wear by up to 15% and protecting sensitive specimens from thermal damage. Operation is via a large 7"" industrial touchscreen with joystick control for comfortable axis movement. Safety features include two-hand control with enabling switch and intelligent component detection with auto-stop.
