DNA-BIND® 1 x 8 Stripwell™; 96-well Polystyrene Microplate without Lid, Nonsterile
Clear flat bottom polystyrene strips are designed to easily break apart and are pre-assembled in an “egg-crate” style strip holder that allows each individual well to be positioned back into the plate once broken. Clear flat bottom polystyrene strips are designed to easily break apart and are pre-assembled in an “egg-crate” style strip holder that allows each individual well to be positioned back into the plate once broken. DNA-BIND® surface covalently binds to amine groups, and provides a convenient method to covalently immobilize aminated ssDNA by either the 5’ or 3’ end for hybridization and/or amplification, and for other DNA-based assays. Stripwell plates have: -Flat well bottoms. -Total well volume of 360 µL; working well volumes of 75 to 200 µL. -1 x 8 strips are designed to fit only one way into the strip holder, eliminating the chance of misorientation. -Lids are not available for these microplates.
Technical Parameters for the Use of Corning® DNA-BIND™ Products in High-Throughput Screening
Previous work has demonstrated the use of DNA-BIND products for hybridization to immobilized capture probes, solid-phase mini-sequencing, examining DNA-protein interactions, and kinase assays. This application note demonstrates that Corning DNA-BIND products can facilitate the development of high-throughput solid-phase assays to analyze interactions between numerous biomolecules and provides technical parameters for their use.
