Cyto-Mine® Chroma is a multiplexing-capable, fully-automated single cell analysis platform that can encapsulate, analyze, sort, and dispense viable single cells.
Leveraging picodroplet technology, single cells are encapsulated in tiny volumes of liquid (e.g. cell culture media). Cyto-Mine® Chroma automates incubation of the cells and cellular output, proliferation, and/or interactions can be measured using standard fluor-based assays.
The automated system screens millions to tens of millions of viable single cells and simple controls allow users to select and dispense targeted desired cells for downstream outgrowth.

Detection of Human Fc Fusion Proteins with Cyto-Mine
The Cyto-Cellect® Fc Fusion Detection Kit, optimized for use with the Cyto-Mine® Single Cell Analysis Platform, enables precise detection and selection of high-productivity Fc fusion protein-secreting cells through a FRET-based assay. This advanced tool streamlines single-cell screening and cell line development while maintaining an animal-origin-free workflow.
This application note highlights the kit’s effectiveness in detecting Fc fusion proteins with human IgG Fc domains. It demonstrates the kit’s compatibility with plate readers for reliable quantification of human Fc fusion proteins and IgG subclasses (IgG1-4). Additionally, in Cyto-Mine®, the kit successfully facilitated the isolation of Fc fusion protein-secreting cells, including those producing IgG4κ.
