CellCelector Next Generation CLD Nanowell Plates
Enable the high-throughput screening, identification and transfer of up to 85,000 candidate clones from a single plate, hence offering a cost-effective alternative to conventional limiting dilution, FACS and other single cell screening and cloning methods. Nanowell plates are available in ultra-low attachment (for CHO, HEK and hybridoma) or plasma (for IPSC and cancer cell) coatings to provide optimal outgrowth conditions.

High-throughput cell line development using CellCelector next-generation CLD nanowell plates
This case study demonstrates how Sartorius CellCelector next generation CLD nanowell plates enable high‑throughput screening, identification, and selection of monoclonal cell lines within a cell line development workflow. Using CHO K1 and HEK 293 suspension cell lines, the study shows that next-generation nanowell plates significantly increase the number of monoclonal wells detected, improve clone outgrowth, and reduce conflict wells compared with standard nanowell plates, offering a scalable and image‑verified alternative to limiting dilution and FACS‑based cloning methods.
