Officially incorporated in 1969, Hamamatsu Corporation (HC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hamamatsu Photonics KK of Japan. In this capacity we provide sales, marketing, and engineering support for our parent company's broad range of photonic devices for all of North and South America. Hamamatsu Corporation's headquarters are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
Our Japanese parent company consists of several divisions: Electron Tube Division, Solid State Division, Systems Division, and Laser Group. These divisions provide us with a broad range of detectors and light sources as well as imaging systems and cameras.
For the most part all Hamamatsu products are built to order; however, a selection of frequently ordered products is maintained in stock in New Jersey. We sell our devices to a wide range of customers from university researchers to OEMs. Devices are sold in standard configuration and as modules. We also create custom devices to suit users' needs. All of our devices are quality tested to ensure that they meet the specifications listed when shipped and our products are known around the world for their quality and consistency.
