Monitoring CAR-T cell therapy production using the LUNA-FX7 Automated Cell Counter

28 May 2026

This application note demonstrates how the LUNA-FX7™ Automated Cell Counter can be used to monitor cell concentration and viability throughout the CAR-T cell therapy production process. Using fluorescence-based counting with AO/PI staining, the workflow enables accurate assessment of cell health at key stages including leukapheresis, T cell isolation, expansion, and final product preparation. The approach supports quality control and regulatory compliance in cell therapy manufacturing.
