Analysis of Anabolic Steroids for Doping Control Purposes by GC-TOFMS and GCxGC-TOFMS
30 Apr 2012In this application note, the performance of both one dimensional GC-TOFMS and GCxGC-TOFMS were evaluated, with special attention to the detectability and the confirmation reliability at low ppb concentration. For this purpose, five anabolic steroids were selected, for which very low detection limits (2 ng/mL) are required by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
