A Comparison of Various Kinetex® C18 Phases

When performing reversed phase LC separations, method developers often first test a C18 phase. This application note explores the different C18 phases within the Kinetex core-shell family of HPLC/UHPLC columns and describes the differences between them. It also gives some general guidelines on selecting the most appropriate C18 phase for a variety of applications, including the separation of water soluble vitamins, nucleotides and cannabinoids.
